This project is a collaboration among a multidisciplinary team of researchers at UCLA, University of Notre Dame, and The RAND Corporation, with support from the National Science Foundation (DRL-REAL 1420252).
The team is working to develop and pilot a new generation of teacher e-portfolios leveraging modern tablet and web technologies. These genera purpose tools allow teachers to efficiently compile rich multimedia documentary records of instruction (Shulman, 1998) and use the evidence collected as part of professional development and self-reflection, and institutional instructional improvement efforts. The current operational version of the portfolio focuses in the rich, complex model of instruction associated to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
